The Nigerian government has finally approved a substantial increase in the monthly allowance of National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) members.
A press statement issued by the agency’s Acting Director of Information and Public Relations, Caroline Embu, on Wednesday night, said corps members’ monthly allowance is now pegged at N77,000, up from the previous N33,000.
