[dropcap]T[/dropcap]there was a heavy presence of security personnel on Tuesday at the premises of the Osun State High Court, Osogbo, ahead of the judgment in the murder case of Timothy Adegoke.

Adegoke, a postgraduate student of the Obafemi Awolowo University, OAU, Ile-Ife, died mysteriously inside his hotel room at Hilton Hotels, Ile-Ife, in November 2021.

His death has been seen as a case of murder by the state.

Six workers of the hotel and its Chairman, Dr Raheem Adedoyin, the Maye of Ile-Ife, were arrested and arraigned in relation to the alleged murder case.

The six workers are: Magdalene Chiefuna, Adeniyi Aderogba, Oluwole Lawrence, Oyetunde Kazeem, Adebayo Kunle and Adedeji Adesola, and they were slammed with an 18-count charge of conspiracy, murder, felony, indecent interference of the corpse, alteration, and cancellation of receipt and oath-taking to prevent justice.
