Lagos State University Students stage protest over Mandated CBT fee amidst Economy Hardship : School management responds

Lagos State University students expressed their utmost displeasure over the imposition of CBT fees by the school management. 

The Student Union Government( SUG) met with the school management to stand as a voice for the entire school stating that the students can’t not afford to give in to such demand

A press release came out from the office of Mrs Oluwayemisi Thomas-Onashile, Coordinator, Centre for Information and Public Relations which reads as follows; 

*PRESS RELEASE*

*VICE CHANCELLOR DIRECTS IMMEDIATE WITHDRAWAL OF CBT, COUNSELLING, AND FORENSIC CHARGES*

The Vice Chancellor, Lagos State University, Prof. Ibiyemi Olatunji-Bello, mni, NPOM, following a meeting with students of the University, on Monday, 8th June 2024, has *directed* that the decision by the University on recently introduced *CBT, Counselling,* and *Forensic charges*, be *withdrawn with immediate effect*.
